ΠΑΡΑΔΕΙΓΜΑΤΑ ΓΙΑ ΕΠΕΞΕΡΓΑΣΙΑ

1. I have an important conference at work tomorrow, so I am rather busy.

Υπάρχουν 8 διαφορετικά μέρη του λόγου στα αγγλικά. Αυτά είναι τα εξής:

• Ουσιαστικά (nouns): conference, work, coffee, party, Saturday, Jessica, friends, corner.
• Επίθετα ( adjectives): important, busy, good, cheap
• Επιρρήματα (adverbs): tomorrow, rather, really, here
• Προθέσεις ( prepositions): at, to, on, in
• Άρθρα ( determiners): an, the
• Αντωνυμίες (pronouns): I, it, you, our, this
• Συνδετικές λέξεις ( Linking words): so, and

ΑΣΚΗΣΕΙΣ

1. Διαβάστε την παρακάτω παράγραφο και προσδιορίστε σε ποια μέρη του λόγου ανήκουν οι υπογραμμισμένες λέξεις.

Andrew didn’ t go to the cafe with the other students. Rachel told him they were going there, but he wanted to finish his work. Andrew isn’ t very sociable. He stays in his room and he concentrates totally on his studies. He’ s an excellent student, but he doesn’ t have much fun.

2. Διαβάστε την παράγραφο και καταγράψτε τις λέξεις στα κενά κάτω. Γράψτε τα 3 πρώτα ρήματα κάτω από τη στήλη ‘Verbs’ και ούτω καθεξής. Μην γράφετε κάθε λέξη περισσότερο από μία φορά.

Henry thinks Claire is wonderful. He loves her madly, and he dreams of marrying her, but unfortunately he is rather old for her. Today they are at a café with their friends Sarah and Mark, so Henry can’ t get romantic with Claire. But he might buy her some flowers later.

Η ΔΟΜΗ ΤΗΣ ΠΡΟΤΑΣΗΣ

Μία πρόταση αποτελείται από Υποκείμενο (subject), Ρήμα( verb), Αντικείμενο (object) ή Προσδιορισμό (complement) είτε επιθετικό είτε επιρρηματικό (adverbial). Σε μια πρόταση πρώτη λέξη είναι συνήθως το Υποκείμενο, έπειτα το Ρήμα και μετά το Αντικείμενο ή ο προσδιορισμός.

ΠΑΡΑΔΕΙΓΜΑΤΑ

1. I really need a rest.

I: υποκείμενο (subject)

Need: ρήμα (verb)

A rest: αντικείμενο (object)

Really: προσδιορισμός (adverbial)

2. David bought Melanie a present yesterday.

David: υποκείμενο (subject)

Bought: ρήμα (verb)

Melanie: αντικείμενο άμεσο (object)

A present: αντικείμενο έμμεσο (object)

Yesterday: προσδιορισμός (adverbial)
